Brunch at Sticky Fingers Bakery

Brunch at Sticky Fingers is a luxury that I rarely get to enjoy. The reasons for this is it's located in DC and getting into DC (especially Columbia Heights where Sticky Fingers is located) is such a pain in the butt! Also, I'm usually so busy during the weekends that I don't have time for it. FORTUNATELY, Sticky Fingers brunch is every Saturday and Sunday from 8/9 am to 2:30pm. This place has the best hours for vegan brunch than any other place I've seen in this area.

French Toast with tofu scrambles and potatoes

You can choose pancakes, biscuits and gravy, or french toast. You can get a la carte or as a platter ($10). The platter includes a side of tofu scrambles, which is quite delicious and a side of home style potatoes, which also is very delicious. My favorite is the french toast platter. I love to douse the whole platter with maple syrup. If you're not feeling like brunch, there are plenty of lunch items to choose from: grilled cheese, tuna melt, quesadilla, nachos, chili dogs, chicken sandwich, and many other variety of sandwiches. Btw, they solely use Daiya cheese, the best kind, as their vegan cheese.

Tuna Melt with onions and avocado

Sticky Fingers also offers a huge variety of baked goods, chips, drinks, candy, pre-made sandwiches/food (lasagna, chicken wings, mac n' cheese), etc, etc.

Sorry for the pictures of the half eaten food. As soon as the food arrives, I'm usually so excited, I tend to forget to take pictures of it til midway through :-P
